About the workplace

Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diaconal University College and is Sweden's largest non-profit hospital with a clear value base – seeing the whole person. With roots dating back to 1851, we have provided healthcare on Södermalm in Stockholm, but we receive patients from all over the country. Here we offer high-quality, specialized healthcare with both breadth and peak competence. We are a university healthcare unit and conduct research, education, and development in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet. We are growing to be able to help more people, and since 2023, the hospital's capacity has tripled and eight new units have started.

Active Physiotherapy is part of Ersta Hospital and is located at Erstaklippan on Södermalm and in Farsta Strand. We have agreements with Region Stockholm and are included in the Care Choice for specialized physiotherapy. The operations are characterized by strong cohesion and a good work environment. We also have a strong sense of community with other operations within the hospital.

Here you get:

  • The opportunity to collaborate with several specialists within the same direction and colleagues in other specialties.

  • A balanced work environment where you have time to work thoroughly with your patients.

  • The opportunity to manage patient flow and focus on the patients where your specialist competence makes the biggest difference.

  • To become part of a strong team where we rejoice in each other's successes and work together towards common goals and a clear vision.

Our operations in Farsta Strand are within a convenient commuting distance by both train and subway as well as car, with parking available.

As an employee with us, we offer a range of benefits that we hope will give you the conditions to thrive at work and have a rewarding free time.

About the role

As a physiotherapist at our clinic, you meet patients within your specialist area. You create your own schedule and control how you want to set up your work with the proportion of new visits and follow-up visits. You sit in your own room in spacious premises where you also have access to shockwave therapy, laser, a well-equipped gym, and the opportunity to hold groups. We give you great freedom to shape your assignment based on your own commitment and previous experience. In the operations, there is a coordinator who helps with bookings.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who thrive with freedom under responsibility and appreciate a coaching leadership style. You collaborate well with colleagues, share your competence, and take your own initiatives to contribute to the development of the operations.

You have an unpretentious approach and see the value of working together towards common goals. At the same time, you are secure in your specialist competence and are motivated by making a difference for patients through qualified assessments and individualized interventions.

Within Ersta Diaconal, we see care as a competence. For you, this means combining your specialist knowledge with the ability to listen, build trust, and understand each patient's unique needs and conditions. You see the whole person behind the symptoms and know that good results are created through both professional skill and genuine commitment to the patient.

We are looking for you who share Ersta's value base of seeing the whole person and who live our values: professionalism, trust, and hope.

Your experience

  • Orthopedics
