As an Operational Buyer, you will become part of the Supply Support team and be responsible for ensuring that planned needs are translated into deliveries that support production. You will work closely with planning, production, logistics, engineering, and suppliers to create an efficient material flow and minimize disruptions in the supply chain.

The role involves broad operational responsibility where you handle both standard products and more complex, customer-specific items in a business with high demands for quality, traceability, and delivery precision.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Purchasing spare parts, repairs, and services related to technical components
• Placing and following up on purchase orders
• Ensuring deliveries according to business needs and schedules
• Handling sales orders and related administrative processes
• Obtaining and evaluating cost documentation and quotations
• Flow optimization and monitoring of material supply
• Analysis and review of suppliers' cost calculations
• Dialogue with suppliers regarding delivery status, deviations, and improvement measures
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient and stable supply flow

You will work in an environment where changes can happen quickly, and the ability to prioritize, follow up, and drive issues to completion is a key part of daily life.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least 3 years of experience in operational purchasing
• Post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, economics, engineering, or another relevant field
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience working in business systems
• Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented
• Good teamwork skills and experience handling multiple parallel tasks

Merits

• Experience in purchasing within aircraft maintenance, defense industry, pharmaceutical industry, or other regulated activities
• Experience with export control or interest in the area
• Experience with the business system IFS
• Experience working in complex supply chains with high demands for delivery security
• Knowledge in logistics, material control, or supply chain
