Primary School Teacher/Special Needs Teacher for Pusselbiten in Dalby (Grades 1–6)

Pusselbiten in Dalby is now looking for a certified teacher or special needs teacher for instruction in grades 1–6. The position is a permanent employment.

Pusselbiten is a resource school for students within the primary school and the adapted primary school with diagnoses within the autism spectrum. Here we work in small teaching groups with high staff density and a strong focus on creating safe, clear, and developmental learning environments.

About the Position

As a teacher at Pusselbiten, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum and the students' individual prerequisites. You work in an environment where structure, clarity, and adaptations are central to the students' learning and well-being.

The duties include among other things:

  • Plan and conduct teaching for students in grades 1–6.

  • Adapt teaching, materials, and working methods according to the students' needs.

  • Create a clear and accessible learning environment.

  • Use visual supports, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and other communicative tools as needed.

  • Collaborate with student assistants, student health services, and guardians.

  • Participate in team meetings, student health meetings, and the school's development work.

We work in a cross-professional manner and see collaboration as an important part of creating good conditions for the students' development.

About Pusselbiten

Pusselbiten is located in Dalby, just outside Lund, and has approximately 40 student places. The operations include:

  • Primary school grades 1–6

  • Adapted primary school, subjects, grades 1–6

  • Adapted primary school, subject areas, grades 1–9

Proximity to nature provides good opportunities to use the outdoor environment as part of teaching and the students' daily lives.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher or special needs teacher with eligibility for grades 1–6.

You have experience in teaching and are confident in planning and conducting teaching with the curriculum's goals as a starting point.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with students within the autism spectrum, intellectual disability, or other neuropsychiatric disabilities. Experience from a resource school or adapted primary school is also an advantage.

Knowledge in clear pedagogy, AAC, and low-affective handling is seen as meritorious.

We are looking for a person who is structured, responsible, and has an easy time collaborating. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and contribute to a positive work climate.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A B-class driver's license is meritorious.

Terms of Employment
  • Employment type: Permanent employment with a six-month probation period

  • Scope: Full-time, holiday service (40+5)

  • Start date: According to agreement

  • Salary: Individual salary setting
