Are you a passionate chef with experience in both lunch service and à la carte? Then we have the perfect job for you!

We are currently looking for a chef with a focus on traditional Swedish home cooking (husmanskost).

You should be self-motivated, able to take initiative, and remain calm under pressure while being flexible in your role. We require 2–4 years of experience from restaurant or large-scale kitchen work, as we are looking for a chef who can work independently.

The position involves varying working hours and occasional weekends, according to the schedule. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who spreads positive energy and is service-oriented.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and preparation of lunch and other orders.
• Participation in self-control measures and maintaining a high hygiene standard. You must have thorough knowledge of allergens and be able to account for all ingredients.
• Monitoring and managing the kitchen's economy.

This is a permanent position with 100% hours.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Restaurang Galejan AB has a broad range of activities. Our main focus is the daily lunch, served buffet-style, as well as delivering portion-packed lunches to companies. We also host conferences, catering events, and other occasions.

Galejan is affiliated with Visita and has a collective agreement.

Additional information: On the upper floor, you will find conference rooms, 13 bowling lanes, shuffleboard, electronic dartboards, billiards, a shooting simulator, and arcade games. A simple bistro menu is served in the evenings, along with packages combining buffet dining and bowling.
