Are you looking for our permanent position located at Haffstaskolan? You could become one of two kitchen assistants working there during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends off. The position is part-time at 75%.

Job Responsibilities

As a kitchen assistant, you will work in the kitchen handling meals such as breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the school's and preschool's children and other staff. The tasks include simple cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, and administrative duties such as ordering supplies and meals via computer and meal data programs. We work according to self-control with clear routines and checklists.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively in a group, is flexible, and service-oriented. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, to understand work orders, routines, checklists, and orders, and to communicate securely in the workplace.

Our working method allows for mutual coverage, meaning you will be able to work in other kitchens within the organization. Together with other employees in other kitchens in the area, you will be part of a larger work group with the kitchen unit manager as your direct supervisor.

Haffstaskolan is located approximately 1 mile south of Örnsköldsvik and has bus connections to central Örnsköldsvik.

The Consultancy and Service Administration provides support and services to the various departments in our areas of property, operations and maintenance, catering, IT, and administrative support services.

During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. We appreciate knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as the Municipality of Örnsköldsvik is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security, so a security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
