What do we offer you?
You now have the opportunity to become a special needs teacher at Röke School, and thereby also become a member of the special educational needs team within the principal's area. The team consists of two special educational needs coordinators and three special needs teachers who together are responsible for the special educational activities across the four schools in the area. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the team as well as with colleagues at Röke School. You will also regularly collaborate with staff from the entire principal's area as we work together to develop teaching to increase student goal achievement. Based on our focus areas, we work jointly on fine-tuning our routines according to current regulations and adapting these routines to upcoming changes in policy documents.
The position involves planning and implementing work with students in need of special support, focusing on Swedish and mathematics, as well as supporting teachers and teaching assistants through observations and guidance in developing the school's learning environments. You will also conduct pedagogical assessments together with the special educational needs coordinator.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a certified primary and lower secondary school teacher and have started or completed a special needs teacher education, and who wish to work with both teaching, assessment, and development. We would prefer that you have previous experience teaching mathematics. Interest or experience in developing students' language skills and the school's learning environments is an advantage.
As a person, we would like you to be engaged in guiding students to good results and helping them train and develop their skills. We see that you are clear and structured in your pedagogical work with students. You contribute to a positive collaborative climate at the workplace and are good at collaborating and building good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians.
You are well grounded in the school's policy documents and actively participate in pedagogical development work and collegial learning processes, creating conditions for every student's learning and development.
We expect you to have good IT skills and be able to use digital tools with students.
Other Information
The position is a permanent employment with a full-time engagement (100%). The position is a holiday cover position.

About Us
The Children and Education Department is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary and lower secondary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. The position is located at Röke School. We have close collaboration and development work within the principal's area for grades F-6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we work with three focus areas: student participation, students' language skills, and safety and study environment.
Röke School is a rural school with a fantastic location near nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. We are a F-6 school with approx. 75 students and two after-school centers.
