Are you a dedicated nursing assistant driven by creating quality of life and making a difference for people? Then you are our new colleague!
Who are we?
Plåtslagaregatan 8 is a special housing facility with 60 apartments, 10 of which are focused on dementia care. We are now looking for a new employee for a permanent full-time position.
The operation consists of approximately 50 employees and is staffed with personnel around the clock. We work with a person-centered approach where the individual's needs are at the center. The unit is located in Hageby, with proximity to both nature and urban environments, and has good transport connections.
We work in teams where you, together with your colleagues and other staff, collaborate to achieve our common goals.
Your responsibilities
As a night-shift nursing assistant, you work to provide the residents with good and safe care in their home by attending to and meeting their physical, psychological, and social needs. Administrative work, including documentation, is also an important part of the role. You should be able to handle medication delegation, take responsibility for your tasks, notice changes in the residents, and seek help when needed. You must have the ability to create a safe environment during nighttime hours.
You work based on set operational goals and are expected to contribute to the development of the operation by identifying errors and deficiencies, conducting risk assessments, and proposing improvements in line with the unit's goals.
You collaborate and coordinate with colleagues, management, and licensed healthcare professionals.
Who are you?
You are a trained nursing assistant according to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in care and support work with the elderly and knowledge of low-affective interaction. We would also like you to have experience working in service occupations.
We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, solution-oriented, and responsible. You work with a user focus and adapt your interaction based on needs and the individual.
The job requires you to be secure, able to work independently, adaptable to changing circumstances, and able to collaborate with residents, colleagues, and other staff.
You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We look forward to receiving your application!
