Senior Verification Engineer in Control Systems
Do you want to help develop the next generation of control systems for heavy vehicles? Do you have extensive experience in verification, test automation, and embedded systems? This could be the right opportunity for you.
We are currently looking for a Senior Verification Engineer for an exciting assignment with a leading player in the automotive industry. The employment is through a staffing agency, and you will become part of a highly competent team responsible for the development and quality assurance of electro-hydraulic control systems.
You will work throughout the entire product development chain – from requirements definition and specification to verification and follow-up of the final product.
Your Responsibilities
As a Verification Engineer, you will among other things:
- Implement and develop new testing methods.
- Plan and conduct tests in various phases of the V-model.
- Work closely with software teams to ensure the right requirements are implemented.
- Support the development of HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) environments.
- Ensure that test environments meet both current and future needs.
- Work with test automation and identify which tests are suitable for automation.
- Contribute to improved quality and efficiency in the development process.
- Document and follow up on test results.
- Participate in technical problem-solving and continuous improvement work.
We are looking for someone who has
- A degree in mechatronics, control engineering, electronics, or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in verifying software and complex control systems within HIL and SIL environments.
- Good knowledge of software testing, functional safety, and mechatronics.
- A good understanding of embedded real-time system development.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, and CAPL.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, UDS, and OBD-II.
- Experience with AUTOSAR and ISO 26262.
- Experience with tools such as Vector, dSpace, MATLAB Simulink, SystemWeaver, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
