Senior System Designer with Focus on Vehicle Functions

We are now looking for a Senior System Designer for an exciting assignment with a leading player in the automotive industry in Gothenburg. The employment is through a staffing agency, and you will work in an engaged team developing functions related to alarms, tailgates, external loads, and panoramic roofs for future vehicles.

This is a developmental role where you will work with both existing and new functions in upcoming vehicle programs and electrical architectures.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior System Designer, you will among other things:

• Develop, define, and verify robust system designs and technical solutions.
• Work with customer-oriented vehicle functions and user behaviors.
• Systematize and define functions and system behaviors within door control, locking systems, alarms, and related functions.
• Develop, break down, and manage requirements across multiple abstraction levels.
• Model and document system solutions according to architectural guidelines.
• Contribute to safety-related system development according to ISO 26262.
• Participate in technical discussions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support verification and validation activities as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure high quality in delivery.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least four years of experience in advanced function and system design.
• Extensive experience in system development, systematization, and modeling.
• Experience in requirements management, requirements breakdown, and traceability.
• Experience with safety-critical systems and working according to ISO 26262.
• Experience with tools such as Electra and Carweaver.
• Experience in technical dialogue and collaboration with suppliers.
• A Master of Science degree in Systems, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Technical Physics, or equivalent experience.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious
