About the role

mnemonic is an established and growing European cybersecurity company working with some of society’s and business’s most critical operational environments. The company is particularly recognised for its SOC and MDR services and works daily to protect customers from some of the most advanced cyber threats existing today.

As a Senior GRC Consultant at mnemonic, you will have a key role in delivering advisory services within Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC). You will work in close dialogue with customers and support organisations in establishing, developing, and steering their information security work in complex and business-critical environments. The role involves working on assignments with high complexity, often close to executive teams, where you translate risk, requirements, and strategy into structures, working methods, and concrete improvements. The work is done in close collaboration with both business and technical functions, and in many cases in environments where security is directly crucial to the operation's function.

You belong to the Swedish organisation and work closely with the GRC Team Lead, while collaborating with mnemonic’s established competencies in the area.

In the role of Senior GRC Consultant, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Independently drive and deliver advisory assignments within information security and GRC, from analysis to implementation
• Translate regulatory requirements and risks into structures, governance models, and practical working methods
• Work closely with customer executive teams on issues related to governance, risk, and maturity
• Plan and conduct risk analyses, security assessments, and preparedness exercises
• Build and develop management systems (ISMS) and support compliance work
• Collaborate with both business-facing functions and technical teams
• Contribute to the development of mnemonic’s GRC offering
• Participate in customer dialogues and support pre-sales

The role involves working in parallel on multiple assignments where demands for structure, quality, and prioritisation are central.

The position is located at our office in Sundbyberg, with the possibility of a flexible working arrangement combining office and remote work. Travel to our headquarters in Oslo occurs.

Is this you?

To succeed in the role, we see that you have an academic education in, for example, IT, information security, or equivalent, as well as a few years of experience working in information security and GRC, preferably in a consultant role. You have practical experience working with governance, risk, and compliance and are accustomed to translating frameworks into concrete solutions in operations. You have, for example, experience with risk analyses, policy work, or implementation of management systems (ISMS). You have good knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar, and an understanding of how these are used in practice. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are meritorious.

You have experience working in customer-facing or business-facing roles and are comfortable in dialogue with both management and technical teams. You can structure your work independently and quickly get up to speed in new environments. As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You are communicative and trustworthy, with the ability to make complex issues understandable. You thrive in a role with personal responsibility and are driven by development and delivering quality.

The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as valid right to work in Sweden.
