About Tallgläntan

Tallgläntan is a special housing facility with different focuses within elderly care. There is housing for people with dementia, housing for elderly people with mental illness, as well as short-term care. Residents come to the short-term care at Tallgläntan for assessment, rehabilitation, respite, or palliative care. Currently, the short-term care consists of 30 places. It is an exciting workplace where all work takes place in continuous collaboration with nursing staff, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses.

We are now looking for a temporary staff member for our short-term unit, and we hope that you want to help develop home healthcare together with us in Falkenberg Municipality.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee here, you provide individual and secure care by working in a close relationship with the resident and their relatives, viewing the person from a holistic perspective. You handle certain medical nursing tasks based on delegation from a nurse. As part of your daily work, you will use Intraphone, which is part of our planning and documentation system. To succeed in this role, it is important that you have good collaboration and initiative skills and take responsibility for driving elderly care of the highest quality. Good treatment and respect are crucial to us.

We work in teams around the resident with care assistants, assistant nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity coordinators to offer health-promoting care and support of very high quality. This also means that you have secure support from colleagues, both care staff and other professional roles.

Part of the position will include shared shifts, which means you may occasionally work a few shifts at another facility or with other operations that we collaborate with within Falkenberg Municipality.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse (undersköterska) and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare that you are entitled to use the protected professional title.

Experience working with dementia, psychiatry, and/or within healthcare and BPSD is desirable. Computer skills are preferred. You should be responsible, flexible, easy to collaborate with, and focused on the residents' best interests. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Experience from short-term care is desirable.

Employment Terms and Conditions

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, start date: 2026-09-01. Fixed-term employment for a period of five months, with the possibility of extension, ending: 2027-01-31.
