With continued growth in Sweden, TIP Group is now looking for an experienced trailer mechanic to join the operations in Helsingborg.

About the role

As a trailer mechanic at TIP Group, you will become an important part of the workshop team, responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of trailers and other transport equipment. The role is varied and combines traditional mechanical work with modern troubleshooting and computer-based diagnostics.

The work is carried out in a dynamic environment where problem-solving, quality, and customer service are in focus. The right candidate will be offered a developing position with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities for growth within the company.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Repair and maintenance of trailers
• Preparation of trailers for inspection
• Troubleshooting and programming of electronic systems such as EBS and ABS
• Repair of insurance damage
• Tire changes
• Hydraulic work
• Welding and sheet metal work
• Documentation and diagnostics via computer
• Participation in service vehicle operations for handling breakdowns and urgent customer issues (if applicable)

We are looking for you who

To succeed in this role, TIP Group is looking for a person with solid experience in mechanical work on heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate has a strong technical interest, works in a structured manner, and enjoys solving technical problems in everyday work.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working with heavy vehicles
• Experience specifically with trailers is highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of mechanics and troubleshooting
• Basic IT skills and experience using computers in a work context
• Category B driver's license is required
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Advantageous qualifications:

• Category CE driver's license
• Good knowledge of English
