Temporary Substitute Teacher at Kristinaskolan in Härnösand

We run our own special schools in various locations across Sweden. We also provide support to preschools and schools nationwide to create learning environments that are developmental and accessible. About Kristinaskolan

Kristinaskolan in Härnösand offers bilingual education in a sign language environment for students from preschool class through grade 10. Our students receive instruction in both Swedish Sign Language and written Swedish. We offer housing for students who cannot commute to school daily.

Job Responsibilities

As a temporary substitute, you may work in various areas at Kristinaskolan. This could include substitute teaching in school, leisure time centers, or student housing. You will be on call to cover needs with short notice. Being on call in this manner means that a new employment relationship begins each time you are called upon to work. Offers for such fixed-term employment are usually made verbally. You naturally have the right to decline assignments offered to you.

Qualifications and Merits

The position requires experience working with students who are deaf or have hearing impairments, as well as proficiency in Swedish Sign Language. You should also be flexible and able to take initiative.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience interacting with different cultures.
• Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

Personal suitability is highly valued. You must be able to present an extract from your criminal record register upon hiring.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: By agreement.
