About the role

We are looking for machine operators for a position with our client in Västerås. The role involves operating and monitoring production machinery in an industrial environment, as well as performing ongoing adjustments, minor maintenance, and quality controls to ensure efficient production.

You will become part of a productive team where collaboration and attention to detail are key success factors.

Main responsibilities

• Start, monitor, and adjust production machines.
• Perform quality tests and visual inspections of finished products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational disruptions.
• Perform ongoing cleaning and minor preventive maintenance according to instructions.
• Document production data and report deviations according to routine.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve workflows and procedures.

About you

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and has a practical approach. You thrive in a pace where quality and safety are prioritized. Experience in similar work is advantageous but not always a requirement — we value the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Formal qualifications

• Basic experience in machine operation or production, or relevant technical education.
• Good understanding of quality and safety routines.
• Ability to read simple work instructions and production documentation.

Merits

• Previous experience with industrial machines or automated production.
• Technical education in industry, mechanics, or electrical engineering.
• Experience working in shifts.
