About the role
As a Subscriber Engineer, you will become a significant part of the Water and Recycling department. Your role is broad, focusing on VA issues regarding new connections, tariffs, easement agreements, and legal matters. The position also involves investigations and work related to operational areas, consultations, and official reviews. You will contribute to developing both the operations and the societal infrastructure that people in Hedemora use every day. In addition to your VA work, once you are settled in, you will also handle investigations related to waste. Existing knowledge in this area is an advantage, but if you lack it, you will have the opportunity to grow into the tasks with support from experienced colleagues.

Your profile
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in legal and operational issues within VA, and preferably also in waste management, and who enjoy explaining regulations in a clear and pedagogical manner in dialogue with customers and other stakeholders. You enjoy working in a structured manner and solving problems, have an ability to see the big picture, and are willing to take responsibility for driving your issues forward. You have a relevant higher education or university degree, for example in water, environment, urban planning, VA technology, or work experience that we consider equivalent. Experience from a municipality or municipal company is an advantage, as is knowledge of GIS or waste legislation.
