About the role

Our client is a large, global technology company specializing in developing complex and heavy systems for load and access solutions. The company operates in an industry where projects are unique and place high demands on strength and precision in demanding environments. This means that almost all equipment must be customized to the customer's specific needs. Therefore, technical expertise and the ability to design special solutions are crucial for winning business and building trust.

You will become part of the sales department in Gothenburg, a team of approximately 15 people characterized by a strong combination of technical expertise, commercial understanding, and great energy. They have a broad experience structure, which ensures thorough knowledge transfer. In project work, you as a Project Engineer will form a team with the salesperson. While the salesperson drives the commercial aspects and project management, you are the technical expert who ensures that the proposed solution is optimal, feasible, and correctly calculated. The role requires you to proactively collaborate with internal specialists in design, hydraulics, and electrical engineering to ensure a complete and risk-free concept.

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis and concept design: Analyze customer inquiries, identify real needs, and design technical concepts based on customer requirements and the company's product portfolio.
• Calculation and quoting: Prepare complete technical bids, including cost calculations, timeframes, and technical specifications in collaboration with the salesperson.
• External presentation: Act as the technical contact person for customers and present the technical solution.
• Internal coordination: Drive the internal technical dialogue to gather necessary data and expertise from departments such as Electrical and Design to finalize the concept.

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed post-secondary education, with mechanical engineering or marine technology being advantageous.
• Has good knowledge of strength of materials and mechanics, as well as a basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Has very good skills in CAD, preferably AutoCAD.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used in daily work.
• The position requires security clearance where Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

It is advantageous if you have
