We are now looking for a care assistant who wants to help launch our new facility, Harvestad, in Linköping, opening in November.

About the facility Harvestad is a specialized housing facility focused on dementia care and has 80 places.

About the role As a care assistant here, you work to provide good care, service, and nursing based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, with a strong focus on quality. In your daily work, you support residents with personal care, help with meal preparation and serving, and handle alarms. An important part of the role is also contributing to social cohesion and meaningful days – through conversations, activities, outings, or other elements that create quality of life.

You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel, such as medication management and exercise. At our facility, the social perspective is just as important as the nursing aspect – we want our residents to live their lives, for their whole lives.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for full-time/part-time permanent positions with a probation period, starting in November 2026.

To be considered for the position, you need:

  • A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a care assistant

  • Experience from working in elderly care.

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have training in BPSD and experience working with people with dementia and cognitive impairment.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care, and have completed the courses "Dementia ABC" and "Zero Vision". Have you not taken these courses before? No worries – they are included as part of our introduction.

To thrive in the role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings. You easily build good relationships and are service-oriented. At our facility, you work both independently and in a team, which makes it important that you feel secure in both working styles.

Before employment is offered, you must present a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or a decision from the Swedish Migration Agency.
