We are now looking for a driven Packaging Engineer to join a leading technology company. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Packaging Engineer, you are responsible for developing, improving, and ensuring efficient packaging solutions for products and materials throughout the entire supply chain. The role involves close collaboration with several functions within the operation, where you contribute technical expertise to ensure that packaging meets requirements for quality, functionality, safety, and sustainability.
You will work in an operation with high quality standards and be given the opportunity to influence packaging processes from idea to implementation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize packaging solutions for products, components, and materials.
- Ensure that packaging meets requirements regarding quality, transport, storage, and safety.
- Conduct analyses and tests to verify the functionality and sustainability of packaging.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, design, purchasing, quality, and logistics.
- Participate in improvement projects and drive the development of more efficient and sustainable packaging processes.
We are looking for you who:
- Have a relevant education from University College or University in areas such as packaging development, mechanical engineering, production technology, logistics, or equivalent.
- Have experience working with packaging development, production technology, or logistics.
- Have experience with CAD tools.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT
This is a long-term consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Friday and work on-site at our client's location. As a consultant at Friday, we are with you throughout the entire assignment and ensure that you have the right conditions to succeed.
