About Us

We welcome you to Närhälsan Kinna Health Centre. We are located in the scenic Marks Municipality with good transport links to Gothenburg, Borås, and Varberg. We have approximately 8,500 registered patients and are one of three Närhälsan health centres in the municipality.

Together, we take joint responsibility for our working environment, have good cohesion, and good cooperation between professions. We place great emphasis on everyone enjoying their work as we believe this benefits our patients. We are located in newly renovated premises and have a wonderful work group.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health centre are varied, with the patient in focus. The work consists, among other things, of independent work in the laboratory with sample collection and controls, assisting doctors with wound injuries and simpler operations, and performing common examinations, such as blood pressure measurement and ECG. Work areas such as wound dressings, suturing, and responsibility for your own clinic may also be included.

You will work both independently and in a team with other staff categories at the health centre. Ordering supplies and preparing examination rooms are part of the daily work. We work in the medical record system Asynja Visph. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

• You have documented education as a nursing assistant (undersköterska).
• You have previous experience working at a health centre as well as venous blood sampling.
• It is meritorious if you have previous experience with wound dressings, suturing, blood pressure measurement, and running your own nursing assistant clinic.
• Supervisor training is desirable.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. The workload is varied and sometimes high, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize your tasks and be flexible.

On July 1, 2023, "undersköterska" (nursing assistant) became a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within care and social services.
