ByggVesta Property Management is now launching a new Stockholm team consisting of six in-house property technicians with various specialized skills. This is an opportunity for you if you want to be involved from the very beginning, influence how the team works, establish structures, and contribute to shaping the culture, while also gaining access to modern tools and new vehicles.

The recruitment is conducted in collaboration with Jefferson Wells, but you will be employed directly by ByggVesta. This is not a consultancy position.

Currently, we manage just under twenty properties with rental apartments and student housing in the Stockholm area. The portfolio comprises a total of approximately 2,650 apartments, with properties varying in size from under 50 to over 400 apartments. Operations are based from our local offices in Kista and Nacka, with our headquarters on Kungsholmen. ByggVesta is an established and financially stable company with a long-term presence in several locations across Sweden.

About the Role

These are operational and varied roles where you combine technical skills, problem-solving, and service. You are a key person in creating functional, safe, and pleasant homes for our tenants every day.

We are building a completely new team with broad competence and a high level of service:

• All-round Technician (3 positions) – broad practical experience
• White Goods/Electronics Technician (1 position) – troubleshooting & repair
• Property Technician with Electrical Competence (1 position) – minimum electrical license B
• Plumber/HVAC Technician (1 position) – pipes and systems

Two of the roles may also involve team leader responsibilities with a focus on planning, coordination, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Operations, supervision, and fault resolution
• Ongoing and preventive maintenance
• Repairs within your area of competence
• Tenant contact with a high service focus
• Coordination with suppliers
• Documentation and reporting

You meet tenants in their homes, often in situations where something is not working. Your ability to build trust, explain what needs to be done, and deliver a safe solution is a crucial part of the job. This makes the role both technical and service-oriented, where interpersonal skills and professional competence go hand in hand.
