About the role:
As a Building Technician at Cemi AB, you are independently responsible for the technical operation and ongoing maintenance of our properties. You work broadly and operationally – from planned maintenance to emergency measures – and are the person who ensures that the technology works, tenants are satisfied, and nothing is left to chance. You work closely with property managers and other colleagues, acting as a key link between property owners, tenants, and external contractors.
Your responsibilities
- Daily supervision and rounds of properties to ensure operation and functionality.
- Responsibility for technical systems such as plumbing, HVAC, heating, cooling, and electricity.
- Troubleshooting and rectifying faults and deficiencies – both urgent cases and planned work.
- Ordering, coordinating, and quality reviewing external contractors.
- Preventive maintenance work and action planning.
- Direct contact with tenants and housing association boards regarding fault reports and questions.
- Ongoing documentation in property and case management systems.
We are looking for you who
- Have at least two years of experience in the role of Building Technician or equivalent.
- Have practical experience in property maintenance, technical operation, or similar.
- Are technically knowledgeable and comfortable working broadly – you know what you can do and when to call for help.
- Are structured, self-initiative, and accustomed to prioritizing in a varied work pace.
- Communicate professionally and service-oriented with tenants and partners.
- Hold a valid driver's license (Category B) (required).
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
