Description
The Labour Market Unit (AME) in Ljusdal Municipality offers a place for individuals who, for various reasons, face a longer path to employment on the regular labour market. Here, individuals gain skills through participation in activities and/or by obtaining a time-limited, specially created position. The long-term goal is to help individuals secure employment on the regular labour market or begin their studies, thereby achieving self-sufficiency.
Currently, AME consists of around 25 permanent employees working in various roles towards the same goal. We are a dedicated team committed to meeting and developing individuals while contributing to sustainable societal development.
We are now looking for a Team Leader for one of our operational areas. Within AME Recycling, we consolidate all our activities related to recycled materials, reused furniture and items, and their handling. We run AME Butiken and Omigen, both focused on utilising items that can be useful to others. We will also have a component in the operations offering social interaction and simpler activities within the framework of recycling.
Within AME Recycling, we offer activity placements for those who need to take the first step towards work, studies, and self-sufficiency.
You will be part of a work team currently consisting of three supervisors. The supervisors work together with the individuals on daily tasks. As needed, you will also serve as a resource within the operations.
Responsibilities
The role involves acting as the link between management and operations. You will also be part of the work group alongside supervisors and individuals with activity placements.
You will have overall responsibility for the AME Recycling section. This means leading and distributing daily work based on operational needs and the number of individuals with placements. The role demands high flexibility and the ability to prioritise based on the current situation.
The role includes documenting the work of the operations and managing finances for the area you are responsible for. You will represent your work group at unit meetings and ensure relevant information is communicated to those concerned.
The job involves close collaboration with labour market caseworkers and social services, requiring good communication skills and a solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications
A Category B driving licence for manual transmission vehicles is a requirement. You must be able to drive a car with a trailer.
The following qualifications are considered meritorious:
To function in the role of Team Leader, you need to be secure and clear in your leadership. You are also unpretentious, open, and communicative. You should have previous experience in leadership roles.
You align with the vision of our sector:
Through courage, innovation, and cross-boundary collaboration, we provide children and adults with the prerequisites to succeed, feel they belong, and live a meaningful life. Here, every person is seen, receives the right support at the right time, and has the opportunity to develop based on their own potential.
We believe you have the following qualities to fit the role:
You are calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations arising in daily work. The work may involve physical tasks, so you need good physical fitness.
You are structured in your work and have the ability to motivate employees towards set goals. As a person, you are flexible, solution-oriented, and professional in your role. You are accustomed to collaborating with others and are a good and engaged representative for our operations in all situations, both within and outside your own organisation.
We expect you to have good experience in documenting your work and be comfortable using MS Office. We work in the systems Arbete & Kompetens (formerly Accorda), Medvind, and Raindance, and previous experience with these is an advantage.
As a person, you need to have a strong commitment to the target group and our mission – to strengthen and upskill individuals. You possess great personal maturity, excellent teamwork skills, and a secure and clear leadership style.
