Junior Information Security Coordinator at Region Norrbotten, Luleå

Do you want to be part of developing our information security work? Then we have an exciting position for you! At Region Norrbotten, we are now expanding the team working with information security. We are looking for an Information Security Coordinator who wants to further strengthen the region's cybersecurity efforts. Our IT/MT department is tasked with leading the digitalization work in the region and creating the right conditions to develop working methods and drive innovation through new technology. Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a relevant university or college degree, or equivalent knowledge that the employer assesses as comparable. You have knowledge of information security, for example through familiarity with the ISO/IEC 27000 series, and experience with information classification according to SKR's KLASSA model. We would appreciate it if you have experience working within information security and risk management, where you have contributed to developing or following up on security work in organizations. Experience with risk management within information security is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you are communicative and have the ability to clearly convey messages and create understanding within the organization. You work in a structured manner, have good problem-solving skills, and can analyze and handle complex issues within the field of information security. The role also requires you to be independent, take responsibility for your tasks, and proactively drive processes forward.

What you will work with

The role of Information Security Coordinator involves being a support for the organization and ensuring that information security work is conducted based on current laws and regulations. You will do this, among other things, by participating in information classifications, risk analyses, and risk management. You will be involved in driving the development, implementation, and follow-up of information security work in close collaboration with the team and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime hours. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

The position is placed in a security class, which means that a security clearance will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and the Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658).

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
