As a doctor, you will conduct examinations, assessments, and selections for professions and education programs that require specific suitability.

In Malmö, we are located in fine premises on Norra Vallgatan, close to the city center and just a stone's throw from the central station. At the assessment unit in Malmö, doctors, nurses, psychologists, and case handlers work together. In total, we are about 60 colleagues in Malmö working together to achieve our goals. We have a collegial spirit and great loyalty to each other.

Your responsibilities

As a doctor with us, you will conduct medical examinations and assessments for candidates applying for education and employment within the Swedish Armed Forces and other clients within the total defense, such as the Swedish Police Authority.

Your duties also include:

• Handling and assessing supplementary certificates.
• Answering questions from the public and applicants.
• Participating in and having partial responsibility for medical development work related to the agency's various assignments.

The work and methods have a high degree of structure. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in a structured work environment.

Your work effort is part of a joint assessment chain, which means you do not have booked appointments but solve the day's tasks in collaboration with others.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a doctor with a license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Have specialist competence in a clinical specialty that we deem relevant.
• Have a few years of professional experience in your specialty.
• Can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

With your ability to see the big picture, you can handle complex issues and analyze them in a way that makes it possible to break down problems and find sustainable solutions. In your communication, you are clear and receptive, and you adapt your message to the recipient.

About the position

Permanent full-time position starting with a probationary period. The location is Malmö, but the employment may include supporting other assessment offices as needed.

Due to the nature of the operations, you cannot work from home, but we hope this will instead contribute to a clearer division between work and leisure. We offer you at least 28 days of vacation, up to 35 days depending on age. You also have the opportunity to exercise for 2 hours during working hours per week and are offered a favorable wellness allowance. About us

We at the Duty and Assessment Agency work to make Sweden safer. Our main task is to examine, enroll in basic training, and register personnel in the wartime organization. We also conduct tests and assessments for other agencies, such as the Police and the Swedish Defence University. In short: we ensure that the right people end up in the right place in the total defense.
