Senior Information Security Coordinator at Region Norrbotten, Luleå

We at Region Norrbotten are now expanding the team working with information security. We are looking for a Senior Information Security Coordinator who wants to further strengthen the region's cybersecurity efforts.

Our IT/MT department has the mandate to lead the digitalization work in the region and create the right conditions for developing working methods and driving innovation with new technology. Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have relevant education at university or college level, or equivalent knowledge assessed by the employer as equal. You have at least five years of experience in information security work and good knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27000 series and information classification according to SKR's KLASSA. You also have knowledge of NIS2 and GDPR. Furthermore, you have experience in risk management and information classification work. It is meritorious if you have experience in monitoring and following up on compliance with requirements both internally and externally. Certifications in the field of information security, such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or certifications in NIS2, GDPR, or data protection, are meritorious.

Furthermore, you have good problem-solving skills and can analyze complex issues. The role also requires independence, where you take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward on your own initiative.

What you will work with

The role of Information Security Coordinator involves being a support for the organization and ensuring that information security work is conducted based on current laws and regulations. You do this, among other things, by participating in information classifications, risk analyses, and risk management. You will be involved in driving development, follow-up, and implementation of information security work in close collaboration with the team and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime hours. Start date is by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date.

The position is classified in a security class, which means that a security clearance will be conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and the Security Protection Ordinance (2018:658).

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
