Job Description

Our business area Product & Software Engineering is currently growing, and we are looking for you who have a strong interest in programming and experience in embedded system development. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

In the role of Embedded Developer, you develop high-quality software that meets our customers' needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work either in our internal project delivery organization or directly with one of our customers. Our customers operate in various industries – from MedTech (R&D), Telecommunications, and the space industry to machinery and equipment manufacturing, defense, automotive, and consumer products.

Qualifications

As a consultant at AFRY, you work either in our own projects or on-site with the customer. To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and enjoys collaboration. We also value that you are curious, eager to develop, and not afraid of new challenges – that you enjoy an environment where you can use your programming skills to solve complex problems!

Requirements for the role:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Very good understanding and experience with embedded systems (at least 5 years)
• Experience in software development for embedded/driver development
• Experience with real-time operating systems for embedded systems
• Knowledge of embedded CPU architecture
• Programming in C/C++/C#
• Python
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English

Meritorious qualifications:

• MATLAB/Simulink
• FPGA/VHDL
• Interest in practical lab work with equipment
