Clarion Hotel Grand Östersund is looking for a star for Brasserie NÒR – Our new Head Waiter!
In the heart of the city's pulse, you will find Clarion Hotel Grand Östersund – a vibrant hotel within walking distance of everything Östersund has to offer. With 197 hotel rooms, 11 meeting rooms, a relaxation area with pool and sauna, as well as our pulsating bar and restaurant NÒR, we are a destination in ourselves!
We are looking for you, with a twinkle in your eye and a burning heart, who wants to put restaurant NÒR on the map in Östersund. Together with the team, you will have the chance to further develop and refine our concept so that NÒR continues to be the city's natural meeting place.
About Brasserie NÒR:
NÒR is a modern European concept with Nordic cuisine in focus, designed to become the local population's first choice. Our chefs develop well-known classics through a mix of Scandinavian and Central European dishes. We believe that a dish is never better than its ingredients, we work seasonally, and we place high demands on our suppliers' quality and sustainability engagement – all so that our guests can enjoy with a clear conscience.
Who are you?
One of our current head waiters has stepped up to new, exciting challenges, and now we are looking for you who wants to take the baton! You have solid experience from the industry and a burning interest in food and drink. Your energy is contagious, you are proactive, creative, and a true problem solver. You are driven by collaboration both within and between departments and take full ownership – not just for your area, but for the guest's total experience. Always and every time!
You will have an incredibly important role in creating a unique experience for the restaurant's guests and leading the team to provide phenomenal service.
In your role as Head Waiter, you will:
The position also includes:
Planning your time outside of service, being willing and capable of performing all tasks carried out by the department's staff – being in the operations and part of the team and spreading your knowledge and passion is a given. Working with your own station. As well as other tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
Employment level: 75%. The position involves work during days, evenings, and weekends. Working hours are distributed during the day, evenings, and every other weekend according to a rolling schedule – just like it is when working in Hotel & Restaurant!
Start date: By agreement. Salary: According to agreement.
