Zushi, operated by Zvshi2 AB, is a popular restaurant located in the heart of Helsingborg. We specialize in Asian cuisine with a clear focus on Japanese dishes. Our offerings include table service, catering, and take-away, and we constantly strive to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

We are now in an exciting phase of expansion and are therefore looking for two skilled and passionate chefs who want to become part of our team and help take Zushi to the next level.

About the role

As a chef with us, you will have an important role in the kitchen and be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking high-quality meals, with a focus on sushi and other Japanese dishes.
• Planning and developing menus together with the team.
• Responsible for purchasing ingredients and ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
• Ensuring that work follows the budget established by the restaurant manager.
• Inspiring with creative ideas and contributing suggestions for new exciting dishes to expand our menu.

At our establishment, the entire kitchen staff speaks Vietnamese as their first language, so knowledge of Vietnamese is an asset.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least three years of experience working in an Asian restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine and its ingredients.
• The ability to work well under pressure and at a fast pace.
• A cooperative and positive attitude.
