Hudiksvall Midwifery Clinic offers comprehensive care within maternal health, contraceptive counseling, and gynecological health checks in Northern Hälsingland. The practice includes both midwifery and youth clinics in Hudiksvall and Ljusdal, where we collaborate closely to provide women and families with the best possible support. Based in Hudiksvall, you will become part of our dedicated team and have the opportunity to contribute and grow in a practice that spans all of Northern Hälsingland.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a midwife, you will meet women and families at various stages of life, where you play a key part in promoting health and well-being. You will work independently and in teams to provide support and care to women of all ages.

As a midwife with us, you will primarily work with:

• Health care during pregnancy, which includes medical baseline programs, fetal diagnostics, health information during pregnancy, and psychosocial work.
• Providing support in parenthood and parent groups, including childbirth and parenting preparation.
• Family planning at the individual level, including contraceptive counseling and STI prevention.
• Gynecological cervical screening to prevent cervical cancer.
• Public health work and conversations about lifestyle issues.
