Health Care Assistant for the Skin Treatment Unit in Hudiksvall

The skin treatment unit in Hudiksvall is located at the Hudiksvall Health Centre. The operations are primarily focused on light therapy for patients with eczema and psoriasis, as well as other medical skin care. The skin clinic also has branches in Gävle, Sandviken, Bollnäs, Söderhamn, and Ljusdal, which means that work assignments and collaboration with nearby locations may occur.

You will work independently at the unit in Hudiksvall, with support from experienced colleagues at our other branches. Together, we actively work on development and improvement efforts to meet future healthcare needs and offer patients high-quality care.

The position is 60% with daytime working hours.

Job Responsibilities

As a health care assistant with us, you work independently with significant personal responsibility while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues at our other treatment units.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform light therapy treatments.
• Photographically document skin changes.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as medical record keeping, ordering samples, and other common administrative duties.

Your primary placement will be at the skin treatment unit in Hudiksvall. The position may involve travel to our other branches as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for your work. You are proactive, see what needs to be done, and take initiative in handling tasks. You have a service-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills where the patient is always the focus. To thrive with us, you need to be flexible and able to adapt when the workday changes or the needs of the operations shift. We also expect you to have the ability to maintain focus and work structured when the pace varies. You can prioritize between different tasks and contribute a positive and solution-oriented attitude to daily work.

For this role, you must be:

• A trained health care assistant (undersköterska).

It is an advantage if you have experience working in the medical record system Cosmic, experience working with skin treatments, and/or experience with reception work.
