Physiotherapist in Specialist Care in Gästrikland

Physiotherapy Specialist Care Gästrikland is responsible for providing physiotherapy to inpatients and outpatients within specialist care at Gävle Hospital (Tullhuset) and Sandviken Hospital.

Job Description

As a physiotherapist, you will focus on the patient's opportunities for physical activity and participation through mobilization and rehabilitation to prevent complications of inactivity and plan for an active life and increased quality of life. You work independently but also in close collaboration with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, other professional categories, and colleagues.

As a physiotherapist with us, you will:

• Be responsible for assessing and mobilizing/rehabilitating patients during their care/rehabilitation period.
• Stimulate physical activity and mobilization.
• Drive development together with colleagues.

Qualifications

To thrive in the role of physiotherapist with us, you need to enjoy collaborating with other people. In the role of physiotherapist, you must:

• Be a licensed physiotherapist.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience working on a ward, and advanced knowledge regarding respiratory care and transfer techniques.

Duration: Permanent, Start Date: 2026-09-01 or according to agreement.
