Your assignment

As an apparatus builder - technical fitter, you belong to a unit within the Technology Department. The department's task is to provide FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops, manages, and puts new technical systems into operation, as well as maintaining and servicing existing systems.

In the role of apparatus builder - technical fitter, you will work practically in a workshop environment, and you will be responsible for:

• Independently assembling apparatuses
• Working with electromechanical workshop work (mechatronics)
• Working with mechanical processing and documentation both during and after completed installation

Your skills

We are looking for you who have:

• Upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on electronics and precision mechanics
• A few years of experience in workshop work
• Category B driver's license
• Good skills in expressing yourself both in writing and verbally in Swedish

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience or education in electronics
• Certificate for hot work
• Competence in workshop technology or troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of English

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a passed security investigation with register check. The security investigation will be carried out in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act.
