Service Manager – Advanced Drilling Technology and Energy Solutions

We are now looking for an experienced and driven Service Manager for an innovative technology company that develops and works with advanced drilling technology for future energy solutions. This role is ideal for you who have solid technical experience and want to take greater responsibility for the planning, coordination, and development of the service operations.

As Service Manager, you will become a key person in the operations, responsible for ensuring high quality, availability, and operational reliability in service and maintenance work. You will act as the link between customers, technicians, project management, and the broader business.

About the Role

In the role of Service Manager, you are responsible for the planning, coordination, and follow-up of service and maintenance efforts for drilling rigs, compressors, and associated equipment. You ensure that service work is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.

You work closely with both customers and technical staff, contributing to the development of routines, processes, and ways of working for a growing business.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and coordinating service and maintenance efforts.
  • Leading and supporting service technicians in their daily work.
  • Ensuring high operational reliability for drilling rigs and surrounding equipment.
  • Managing customer contacts and technical support.
  • Following up on service cases and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Working with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
  • Planning spare parts management and service readiness.
  • Developing and streamlining service processes and routines.
  • Ensuring that documentation and reporting are carried out correctly.
  • Contributing to the development of the business and technical improvement work.
  • Participating in installations, functional checks, and commissioning as needed.

The role is performed in a technically advanced environment where leadership, structure, problem-solving, and business acumen are crucial for success.

Requirements Profile

Essential Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience from service, maintenance, or technical operations.
  • Experience with heavy machinery, construction equipment, trucks, or industrial equipment.
  • Good technical understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electricity.
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, or leading service efforts.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience in customer contact and service work.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English.

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with drilling rigs or drilling equipment.
  • Experience from the energy, mining, or construction industries.
  • Experience in leadership or personnel management.
  • Experience with CAN-bus systems.
  • Experience with PLC systems and control technology.
  • Experience with digital service and maintenance systems.
  • Valid driver's license (Category C).
