The Role: Security Technology in Advanced Environments

As a security technician at SM Smart Teknik, you are responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and quality-assuring security systems in exclusive residences, businesses, and public environments. You work closely with project managers, programmers, electricians, and other technicians to create safe and user-friendly holistic solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Intrusion Alarms: Installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of alarm systems, with a special focus on Ksenia in new installations.
• CCTV: Mounting, configuring, and aiming of cameras, as well as commissioning of NVR/VMS solutions.
• Access Control: Installation and configuration of readers, door environments, central units, and permissions.
• Network and Infrastructure: Basic network configuration, cable termination, troubleshooting, and rack work.
• Integrations: Collaboration between security systems, smart home solutions, control systems, and the customer's other technical environments.
• Service and Documentation: Service visits, corrective maintenance, self-checks, and clear project documentation.
• Customer Contact: Professional communication with customers in environments where discretion, order, and high service level are important.

Your Profile: Responsible, Structured, and Technically Confident

We are looking for someone who is used to taking responsibility for the entire installation, from on-site planning to final commissioning. You thrive on problem-solving, work methodically, and always leave behind an installation that is both functional and neatly executed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a few years of experience as a security technician or installer within alarms, cameras, access control, or a related field.
• Has a good understanding of low voltage, networks, cabling, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Is self-sufficient, solution-oriented, and takes responsibility for quality and customer experience.
• Is meticulous, structured, and used to working in environments with high demands on finish and discretion.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Communicates well in Swedish and English.

Experience with certified security systems, camera and access solutions, as well as integration with smart homes or building automation, is meritorious. As we work with security solutions in sensitive environments, a security clearance check may be conducted prior to employment.
