About the Role

As a Foreman at LPE, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on work in our civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You work closely with the Site Manager and serve as a vital link between strategy and production.

You have clear responsibility for progress, productivity, and quality – while simultaneously driving daily leadership in the field. This is a permanent full-time position starting with a six-month probationary period, based at our projects in Gothenburg and surrounding areas.

Your Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead, allocate, and follow up on daily work in projects
• Ensure progress according to schedule, budget, and customer requirements
• Coordinate personnel, machinery, and subcontractors
• Actively work with production control, key performance indicators (KPIs), and cost tracking
• Create and follow up on schedules, risk analyses, and occupational health and safety work
• Ensure quality through self-inspections and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvements according to the LPE Way

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their leadership role and thrives in an operational environment with a fast pace where decisions are made close to production. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to create engagement within the team.

We believe you have:

• At least 2 years of experience in foremanship within civil engineering and infrastructure
• Experience planning and controlling production in a project-based format
• Experience coordinating personnel, machinery, and subcontractors
• A good understanding of schedules, progress, and productivity
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety, quality, and production

Requirements:

• Higher Vocational Education (YH) in construction/civil engineering or equivalent experience assessed as equivalent
• Valid Category B driver’s license
• Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the role involves documentation, reporting, and communication with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors

Merits:

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
• Personnel management responsibility
• Knowledge of Lean or structured improvement work
• Certifications such as BAS-U/BAS-P, Safe Excavation (Säker Schakt), or Work on Road (Arbete på väg)
