Are you a social worker with experience in Signs of Safety and authority exercises within the child and youth sector? Then we have an exciting and developmental job for you. We are looking for two secure and experienced employees for our Child Safety Team.
With us, you are offered a working day that involves great variation, both in tasks and in the operations and people you meet. It is a challenging, fun, and educational position where you get the opportunity to contribute with your full competence.
As an employee with us, you are offered external supervision in addition to collegial support and close leadership.
Your new job
The Child Safety Team consists of two social secretaries, two family therapists, and one social secretary/coordinator. The team is organized under the Child and Family Unit, Child and Adult Sector.
In the Child Safety Team, work is done on cases that require safety planning based on Signs of Safety. Safety planning is a structured approach. It can be used in families where there is a high degree of concern and where the child is or risks being placed outside the home. Together with the family and network, a plan is created that can give the child security and safety despite a problematic situation. The plan should aim for the child to be able to live at home or eventually move back home, where they will be safe and secure at home and have their needs met by their family and network. A successful safety plan changes/organizes the daily life around the child so that the child, and all important others, know that the child is doing well enough.
You will work with the safety planning that is done. As a social secretary in the Child Safety Team, you handle cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU). The work is interesting, challenging, and multifaceted, stimulated by being faced with complex situations and challenges that require problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
The working hours are mainly during the day, but some work outside regular office hours may occur.
When you start with us, you will receive an introduction and support to grow into your role. We provide collegial support, close leadership, weekly case review meetings, and external supervision. All social secretaries receive further training in the national Career Journey. We work in an activity-based office environment with different zones; there is some possibility for remote work.
Common tasks

- You work in accordance with the safety planning method together with the rest of the team.
- The tasks consist of intensive family work where the team meets families several times a week at times that suit the family and network.
- You lead network meetings and collaborate with the child's network, other authorities, and partners.
- You document in the business system Viva according to BBIC.

You have achieved personal maturity, are secure in yourself, have a good ability to connect with others, and treat children, families, partners, and colleagues with respect and warmth. For you, engagement, responsibility, and participation are important.
