Maintenance Worker for the Property Department

DUTIES

Are you looking for a job that is very diverse and also leads to meaningful change? Do you want to contribute to the municipality's buildings being well-maintained, safe, and functional for residents and employees? We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented maintenance worker for the Property Department.

The main duties consist of performing internal and external maintenance of the City Hall and the Town Hall, as well as other municipal buildings as needed. The work is varied and includes both practical tasks and service to operations using our premises.

A very varied job with significant customer contact.

The duties include, among other things:

Perform supervision, maintenance, and minor repairs of the City Hall and Town Hall, as well as other municipal buildings as needed.
Handle fault reports and carry out minor repairs.
Be responsible for the moving and assembly of furniture and equipment.
Be responsible for the municipality's printing office.
Participate in safety and fire protection work.
Collaborate with contractors and external suppliers.
Manage lock, key, and access systems according to current routines.
Perform certain transports and other practical service tasks.
Maintenance of smaller green areas.
Snow removal of entrances and graveling.

QUALIFICATIONS

Have a property maintenance education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Have experience in property maintenance, maintenance work, or similar work.
Have good practical problem-solving skills.
Have good computer skills.
Have a B driver's license.
Can handle printing office operations.

It is meritorious if you have experience with building technical systems, fire protection work, or work within public operations. We also view positively technical knowledge within HVAC, electricity, or work vehicles, for example, a skid steer loader. Experience in park work is also an advantage.
