We are now looking for machining assemblers and foundry workers for International Aluminium Casting in Ankarsrum. Here you will become part of a production where quality, precision, and responsibility are at the center, and where you work with the manufacturing and machining of aluminum components in a constantly developing operation.

About the role

• Working hours: 2-shift system

• Employment type: Fixed-term (full-time)

• Start date: Immediately

In the role of foundry worker or machining assembler at IAC, you work with the manufacturing and post-processing of aluminum components. The tasks vary depending on the department but include, among other things, supervision of casting processes or machining machines, simple adjustments, material handling, and final inspection of parts.

You are responsible for ensuring that production maintains high quality through careful checks, measurements, and documentation of any deviations. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues where you contribute to a safe and efficient production and actively participate in improvement work to develop processes and working methods.

About you

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and thrives in a practical role within the industry. You have a technical interest and work methodically with a high focus on safety, while being accustomed to following established routines and instructions in production.

You are someone who takes responsibility for your work, has an eye for quality, and understands the importance of getting it right from the start. Since the work is done in a team, we see that you have good teamwork skills, while also being able to work independently and take initiative when needed.

Experience from industry, casting, machining, or similar work is meritorious, but we place great emphasis on your attitude and willingness to develop. You are engaged, contribute to a positive work environment, and want to help create a safe, stable, and efficient production.

Formal qualifications

• Driver's license B & access to a car

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Experience working in industry, production, or similar practical work

Meritorious

• Experience in casting, machining, or working with metal

• Forklift license

• Experience reading drawings and using measuring instruments
