Job Description

Kalmar Motor is looking for you if you thrive in a high-tech international environment with a technical focus, where you work on customer projects with the responsibility of building a machine according to drawings in collaboration with our designers. We are looking for genuinely tech-savvy machine builders for work with advanced assembly and installation of vehicle machinery. The machines are built based on unique customer needs and contain advanced electronics, data systems, and electromechanics. The production is flexible and takes place largely under individual responsibility. You will primarily collaborate with other assemblers, designers, and team leaders. Since our customers' clients are located all over the world, there is an opportunity to experience installation, service, and repair trips to different continents. We offer you a full-time position where working hours are scheduled on weekdays between 07:00–15:30. You will be employed by us at NearYou with very good prospects of the employment transferring to our client after 6 months.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have some form of technical education and/or experience with hydraulics and mechanical assembly, preferably of advanced machinery. You have a strong technical interest as well as practical hands-on skills and are drawn to working at the forefront of technology. The role requires a high level of commitment, self-drive, and the ability to take on comprehensive work from start to finish. You are a good problem solver and are also characterized by good orderliness and quality awareness. We are looking for you who have experience in reading technical drawings. It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a vehicle technician or car mechanic. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, and hold a B-class driver's license.
