Lely Center Västervik is looking for an Installation Technician

Do you want to work in a future-oriented industry where technology, innovation, and agriculture meet? Lely Center Västervik is now looking for more installation technicians who want to help install market-leading solutions for automated milking, animal husbandry, and feeding.

After an introduction and training period, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Lely milking robots and other automated equipment at our customers' sites. The work mainly involves mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and data, making the role both varied and technically developing.

You will be based from your home and work across a large geographical area in central, southern, and eastern Sweden. Travel and overnight stays are therefore a natural part of the job, and work during evenings and weekends may occur during certain periods.

You report to our project coordinator and plan the implementation of installation projects together. The role involves significant personal responsibility, but you always have close support from both your manager and colleagues in your daily work.

To best handle the assignments and administer our warehouse in Västervik, we would prefer that you reside in the central or northern part of Kalmar County.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest, good problem-solving skills, and who thrives in a role that combines independent work with close customer contact. As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and structured, while also being flexible and self-motivated. You easily build trusting relationships and represent Lely in a professional and positive manner.

We believe you have experience working in project form and are comfortable traveling and being away from home for periods. A category B driver's license is required for the position, with a category BE license being an advantage. Good computer skills and proficiency in English (both spoken and written) are required. Experience working with livestock in agriculture is an advantage but not a requirement.

The position is a full-time, permanent role with immediate start.
