Description

The hearing services operate throughout the Region Västra Götaland and provide support and treatment to individuals with permanent hearing loss, deafness, and deafblindness of all ages. We conduct hearing rehabilitation at Södra Gubberogatan in Gothenburg and also have a hearing aid clinic at the same address where we accept walk-in patients.

We are currently looking for a licensed audiologist for our Audiologist Clinic, primarily based in Gothenburg. The position also involves work at our hearing aid clinic and on-site collaboration with the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).

Responsibilities

As an audiologist at our unit, you will work with audiological diagnostics, rehabilitation of adults, service at our hearing aid clinic, student supervision, and collaboration with ENT, user organizations, as well as colleges and universities.

The interventions are based on a holistic view where the audiologist collaborates with other professional categories together with the patient and their relatives.

Responsibilities may change in connection with future digitalization, so the ideal candidate should be interested in digital development.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed audiologist. We are looking for you with an interest in clinical work involving hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation, as well as service. We place great emphasis on qualities such as flexibility, initiative, and good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work both individually and in groups. Previous experience with Auditbase, NOAH, and Melior is meritorious. We would prefer that you have completed a supervisor training course and/or have experience supervising students during practice-based education. It is important that the person we hire fits well into the work group.
