We are looking for you who thrive in a business-driven role where you can combine sales, technology, and international relations. As a Global Area Sales Manager, you will have significant responsibility for developing sales in several markets and working closely with our distributors, subsidiaries, and customers around the world.
This is a role for you who are motivated by creating growth, building long-term business relationships, and turning strategies into concrete results. You will become an important part of our continued expansion and have the opportunity to influence both the business and the development of our markets.
Your Mission
As a Global Area Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing sales within your market areas and ensuring that our business goals are met.
You work closely with our distributors and subsidiaries to create growth, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen our market position.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Drive and develop sales in international markets.
- Create and implement marketing and activity plans together with distributors and subsidiaries.
- Build and develop long-term customer and partner relationships.
- Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and other business activities.
- Conduct product and sales training and presentations.
- Follow up on results and ensure that sales targets and budgets are met.
The position is based at our headquarters in Strängnäs, and a key part of the job involves regular international travel.
Qualifications for Success
We believe you have experience in sales or business development in an international environment and that you enjoy creating results through others, such as distributors, partners, or local sales organizations.
You need to be able to understand technical products and communicate their business value to customers and partners. Therefore, it is important that you have a technical understanding that makes you confident in dialogue with both technical and commercial decision-makers.
Since you plan and drive your work independently, you need to be structured, proactive, and accustomed to prioritizing between different activities to achieve set goals.
The role requires that you communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, and that you enjoy working in different cultures and building international relationships. Additional language skills are a plus.
Since we sell our solutions to many different industries worldwide, experience from manufacturing industries is a plus.
