Professionals Nord is recruiting an Operational Buyer for X Shore’s operations in Nyköping. Here, you will become part of an engaged team with a key role in ensuring material supply and contributing to efficient purchasing processes in an innovative and high-tech production environment.

About X Shore and the Role

X Shore is a Swedish company that develops and manufactures fully electric boats with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and quality. As an Operational Buyer, you are responsible for both direct and indirect purchasing and play a central role in ensuring that materials, products, and services are available when needed. You work closely with production, engineering, and other parts of the business in a role where initiative, collaboration, and a solution-oriented approach are crucial.

This is a role for you if you enjoy solving problems, taking initiative, and driving issues through to completion. If a delivery is delayed or a product is unavailable, you are not satisfied with just sending an email – you make contact, follow up, and find alternative solutions.

In the long term, there are good opportunities for development within logistics, transport planning, and distribution.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for the operational purchasing of materials, components, and business-related products.
• Ensure that production has the right materials in place at the right time.
• Handle purchases of items such as workwear, tools, consumables, and services.
• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers via phone and email, as well as follow up on deliveries and discrepancies.
• Handle commercial matters and simpler negotiations regarding prices, MOQ, freight, and packaging.
• Collaborate closely with production and other internal functions to ensure an efficient material flow.
• Contribute to the development of routines, working methods, and processes in a business that continues to grow.

Experience and Competence

We are looking for you who have experience in operational purchasing, material planning, or supply chain, preferably from manufacturing industry or other production-related operations.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in purchasing or supplier contacts.
• Experience working in business systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
