Your workday - Project managing socially beneficial procurements
The Fortifications Agency is a government agency with socially important operations and is experiencing strong growth. The Market and Purchasing Unit is part of the Development and Business Support Department, and we support and monitor the agency's purchases and contracts, are responsible for the purchasing systems, carry out all procurements, and are responsible for the purchase of protective products and vehicle coordination. The unit consists of four groups; E-commerce and the purchasing groups for Goods and Services and Construction Contracts respectively.
The Goods and Services group consists of ten employees and we are now looking for additional colleagues as we need to expand the group.
As a procurement specialist with us, you will have a cohesive project management role and you will primarily be responsible for:
- planning, leading, and conducting procurements where you are responsible for the entire procurement process
- providing advice and support in procurement and call-off issues throughout the organization
- managing concluded contracts and
- participating in process work.
The placement for the positions is Eskilstuna. Some travel may occur, but can be planned.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have
- Higher education or university education in economics, law, IT, or a technical education. Alternatively, other education such as vocational training in procurement and purchasing or other education that the employer deems equivalent
- several years of work experience in procurement of goods and services within the public sector, meaning you have been responsible for a procurement process from start to finish
- knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
- good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- high administrative ability and experience using administrative IT systems
- driver's license, class B.
It is meritorious if you have education in procurement (LOU) or the Act on Procurement in the Defense and Security Area (LUFS). It is also meritorious with experience/competence in:
- Category management
- Contract law
- The defense sector
- International procurements (English)

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. The location is Eskilstuna. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security screening with register control will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
