Maintenance Mechanic for Industrial Company in Smålandsstenar

About the Role

We are currently looking for a maintenance mechanic for an established industrial company in Smålandsstenar. This is a temp-to-perm position with good opportunities for permanent employment with the client for the right candidate.

As a maintenance mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring the operation of the company's production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. You will become a key part of the operation, working closely with production to create efficient and reliable processes.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operation and mechanical maintenance of production machinery
• Troubleshooting, adjustment, and optimization of machine equipment
• Installation and commissioning of new machines
• Analysis and improvement of machine performance
• Work with hydraulics, conveyor belts, robots, and chain drives
• Some building maintenance and technical upkeep

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within manufacturing or process industries
• Has good knowledge of machines and mechanical systems
• Can work independently with troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Has basic electrical knowledge
• Is proficient in Swedish or English, both spoken and written
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)

A forklift certificate is an advantage.
