Do you want to work as an Occupational Therapist with responsibility for the short-stay unit, in close collaboration with physiotherapist colleagues?

From rehabilitation of patients with stroke to helping patients manage their daily lives independently and enabling suitable housing that provides independence in everyday life. We want to be part of the transition required for good and close care, where demographics show increased care needs. We have recently reorganized our working methods and organization, with the aim of a sustainable work environment and long-term patient safety. Here, we are organized into functional assignments. In addition to the person responsible for short-term stays, we have a common care queue, a home transition team responsible for safe and secure discharge from the hospital, a telephone reception, and a rehab quality service.
The role includes:
- In close collaboration with the responsible physiotherapist and other professions in the team, work based on set goals for short-term stays, e.g., with nurses, unit manager, care staff, dementia nurses, and assistance coordinators.
- Municipal rehabilitation; assessments, prescriptions, and fittings based on the prescription process. The patient has a significant degree of participation in the goals of our interventions.
- Lead based on your profession, both in patient contact and through the care staff you lead, providing support and motivation through your knowledge.
- Responsibility to work together with other professions to create conditions for a safe return to permanent housing from the short-stay unit.
- Collaborate externally and internally with various professions to maintain high quality.
Requirements for the position:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Category B driver's license for manual transmission
Merits for the position:
- Experience within the profession or from municipal rehabilitation
- Knowledge of municipal operations and politically directed organization

You are comfortable working independently and simultaneously recognize the importance of good collaboration with a patient focus. The work requires the ability to collaborate, organize, structure, and work solution-oriented with a holistic perspective. You have good pedagogical skills in meetings with other people and in teaching, and you see the value of good teamwork between professions. Within the framework of employment, you contribute to our development and improvement work. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
