Primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, rehabilitation activities, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who fall ill go directly to the health centers and receive healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all of the county's towns, on several smaller localities, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care provider where teamwork and patient needs are at the center.
Samariten Health Center has approximately 17,000 registered patients and is part of Hälsoval. We are approximately 60 employees from various professions working together.

About the Job
As a specialist in general medicine at Samariten Health Center, you will work broadly within the field of general medicine, handling both emergency and scheduled appointments. Samariten Health Center is currently in a development phase where we are reviewing how we can improve our working methods. We want a modern health center where we work in teams to meet the needs of citizens. We want to create a good work environment where we thrive and are satisfied with the work we do together. Do you want to be involved in creating a workplace that meets the needs of future healthcare?
We work based on RAK ("Right Use of Competence").
We also plan to work in teams in the future to ensure better continuity and security for patients and other staff. This allows for involvement in planning and developing a well-functioning and sustainable clinic operation with varied tasks. We also intend to develop our digital healthcare meetings. If you have supervisor training, you will also have the opportunity to supervise students and trainee doctors within our operations, and you will be offered development opportunities regarding the future tasks and activities of general medicine.
There is an opportunity to participate in continuing education activities, common for the entire county, approximately once a month. Other professional continuing education is also prioritized at our workplace, as well as various forms of internal training.
We have various nurse-based specialist clinics: Child Health Services (BHV), diabetes nurses, asthma/COPD nurses, incontinence nurses, elderly care clinic, lifestyle clinic, and wound care nurses. Samariten also has a rehabilitation coordinator. The health center has a branch with a doctor in Mörrum and a branch with child health services in Asarum.
About You
We are looking for you who want to work within primary care and be part of our wonderful team. We are looking for you who have a Swedish medical license with specialist competence in general medicine. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good climate.
Experience working at a health center is a good merit.
You have a genuine interest in helping people and working with the patient in focus. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good work climate. Furthermore, you cooperate easily and have good initiative and organizational skills.
You master the Swedish language in speech and writing. Applicants suitable for employment must provide an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record register before employment (form 442.9).
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Region Blekinge mobilizes all permanent staff in the event of war. Some of our positions are security-classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
