At Geotech, you will play a central role in developing advanced measuring instruments and software used in everything from infrastructure projects to offshore operations. With a clear growth strategy, close customer collaborations, and constantly innovative new products, we hold a strong market position and now need to expand our development team with one more colleague.

In 2027, we will also be moving to new premises in Balltorp, Mölndal.

Responsibilities

In the role of Software Developer, you will work operationally on further developing our existing software. The focus is on building upon our existing platform, particularly within logging software, desktop applications, and data management, while simultaneously advancing our web and backend solutions. You will work closely with both hardware and end-users, being involved in the entire development chain from idea and design to testing, documentation, and release.

You will work in close collaboration with product owners and hardware developers. The role also involves contact with support functions and the opportunity to participate in tests and follow-ups directly together with users in the field or in their own production.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Further develop and improve our logging software for real-time data
• Develop desktop applications in C# for field operators
• Work with backend, databases, and data management
• Build and further develop web interfaces and APIs
• Participate in the entire development process: design, implementation, testing, and release
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in electronics, mechanics, and product development
• Test solutions in real environments together with users when needed

Your Profile

For the role of Software Developer, we are looking for you who have a few years of experience in software development and feel confident working hands-on with code. You are accustomed to diving into an existing codebase and driving development forward, and have sufficient breadth to work across several parts of the system. You have previously worked with C# and are comfortable developing and enhancing existing solutions, rather than just working at a high-level architectural level. As a person, you like to take responsibility and drive your work forward, while appreciating collaboration and dialogue with colleagues and users. You are technically interested and have a structured approach to work. At the same time, you are unpretentious and flexible, and motivated by seeing how your work is actually used in practice.

• Relevant university degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with C# development
• Developed user interfaces and functionalities in desktop applications
• Experience with full-stack development with a good understanding of web solutions
• Worked with backend and database management to store, structure, and handle large amounts of measurement data.
• Experience with Avalonia is a plus
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
