About Us

Our operating department provides highly specialized eye care, performing approximately 10,000 eye surgeries annually, of which about 3,000 are under general anesthesia. We have nine operating rooms where we perform surgeries for cataracts, retina, plastic surgery, oncology, strabismus, as well as corneal transplants. Here, we work with the latest technology with the entire eye in focus.

We are a smaller hospital, which means short decision-making paths, close collaboration between different professional categories, and a family-like atmosphere. Here, we know each other and help one another – always with the patient at the center.

We care for patients from the age of one and up. Most importantly, we strive to provide safe, secure, and high-quality care while working towards the development of our operations.

About the Position

As an anesthesia nurse with us, you are an important part of the patient's care team. Your duties include working in the operating room, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), on-call duties, and participating in development work. We offer varied work with both children and adults, in a facility that combines planned and acute care in a smaller hospital setting.

You will work together with a team of approximately 15 people, consisting of anesthesia nurses, nursing assistants, and anesthesiologists. We offer an individually tailored introduction and highly value professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education in anesthesia care and have at least two years of professional experience. Experience with pediatric anesthesia and/or ophthalmology is advantageous.

Employment Terms and Conditions

Permanent full-time position – part-time opportunities may be discussed. Probationary period may apply. Working hours are daytime Monday to Friday with some on-call duties in the evenings and weekends.
