Värmdö Gymnasium, one of Stockholm's most attractive upper secondary schools, is centrally located at Gullmarsplan in Stockholm. The school has approximately 1,330 students distributed across five university-preparatory programs: EK, ES, NA, SA, and TE. Värmdö Municipality is the main authority, but our students come from all over Greater Stockholm.

The operation is characterized by engagement and creativity and is focused on education, academic studies, and working life. All teachers at the school are licensed. Centrally located in the school is our excellent library. For students in need of special support, we have a well-functioning studio. Värmdö Gymnasium is the school where students thrive and are given good conditions for learning and a democratic approach. Collaboration has made Värmdö Gymnasium one of Stockholm's most successful schools. We are now looking for a knowledgeable, creative, and engaged school nurse who shares our focus on learning, collaboration, and well-being.

The role of school nurse means that you are part of the student health team together with the counselor, study counselor, special education teachers, and program director. The student health service aims to promote students' learning, development, and health. Your duties include preventive and health-promoting work regarding lifestyle and factors affecting health and ill-health, as well as simpler healthcare interventions. You hold health conversations with students in grade 1. Together with your colleagues in the student health team, you are a support for students and teachers.

We are looking for you who is a licensed nurse with specialist education in child and adolescent health, district nurse, open healthcare, or specific higher education for school nurses. Experience in school healthcare or child and adolescent medicine is meritorious. You should have good IT skills and good ability to communicate orally and in writing.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, are receptive, and have the ability to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You enjoy working with young people and seeing them grow and develop. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.

The employment covers 100% and is a permanent position with start date as agreed.
